Al-Hamami said during statements to the "The Opposite Direction" program in his episode on (9/22/2020) that although the Arab League is considered the oldest entity in the region, and it is older than the European Union, it is the weakest and leaner, stressing that all of its 44 summits that it held have not gone out. In any decision important to the Arabs, describing its decisions as "thorny and rabbinic" and have no effect on the ground.

Al-Hamami confirmed that the Arab League had not succeeded in resolving any dispute between the Arabs, even if it was just a border dispute, and accused it of enduring many of the tragedies that befell the Palestinian people due to its weakness and inability to take decisions that preserve its rights. Al-Hamami also carried the Palestinian Authority and those who accepted the Palestinians. The Oslo Agreement is a great responsibility for the reality that the Palestinians have reached today.

As for the transfer of the Arab League to Egypt, Al-Hamami explained that the university’s status has become disastrous, as it turned into a tool belonging to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and consequently its decisions became dependent on whoever pays more, in reference to the Emirates.

Al-Hamami explained that the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States refused to respond to the calls of Palestinian officials who demanded an emergency session, shortly after the UAE announced its intention to sign a peace agreement with Israel, describing Aboul Gheit’s behavior as irresponsible and evading his duties towards the members.

Resistance is the reason

the

other hand, the Syrian political analyst residing in Sweden, Kamal al-Labwani, said that the reality of the Arab League reflects the situation of the Arab countries, accusing many Arab regimes of exploiting the idea of resistance to impose a state of emergency on their peoples and suppressing these peoples and robbing them of their freedoms, while they resorted to making peace with Israel from under Table.

Al-Labwani considered that the ideology of the resistance is what has brought most of the Arabs to the poor state they are in now. If it were not for the resistance, the Jews would not have resorted to responding violently to the Palestinians, occupying more of their lands and establishing settlements on them.

According to Al-Bawani - who has visited Israel more than once - normalization with Israel is a step in the right direction, and will allow the Palestinians, at a minimum, to obtain a somewhat decent life, something that they have not obtained during decades of adopting the ideology of resistance.

Al-Labwani also justified the normalization of the UAE and Bahrain with Israel, with their legitimate fears of Iranian expansionist ambitions in the region, accusing Tehran of occupying Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen and seeking to occupy the Arab Gulf states, while Israel - according to his opinion - only wants to live in safety with its Arab surroundings.

Al-Labwani did not see anything that prevents Israel from accepting membership in the Arab League in the coming days, stressing that it is the ideology of peace that the Arab peoples need and not the ideology of resistance.
