Among the 1,490 students of the Ecole Centrale de Lyon, 252 engineering students were detected positive for the coronavirus.

Information confirmed this Tuesday by the establishment.

A vast screening campaign was orchestrated last week on campus: "513 people were tested over two days," said the school, adding that "none developed a serious form".

Among the staff (administrative and research professors), only one positive case was detected out of 120 people.

However, the School is not closed.

“All courses are organized remotely from Friday September 11 in the afternoon and until Friday September 25 inclusive,” says the establishment.

If the health situation allows, lessons will resume in a mixed mode from Monday, September 28.
