'Drip Memories', a little-known studio Ghibli masterpiece, now on Netflix -

Already available in full on Netflix for a few months, and cult for millions of fans around the world, the films of Studio Ghibli still achieve the feat of making people talk about them.

The animation studio's website featured 400 drawings of its biggest films last week.

The 400 drawings are taken from eight films by the animation studio: 

Souvenirs de Marnie

The Tale of Princess Kaguya

Spirited Away

,

The Wind Rises

,

The Poppy Hill

,

Arrietty: The Little World of Thieves

,

Ponyo on the cliff 

and

The Tales of Earthsea

The images are all free to download, but the studio Ghibli website has nevertheless told its users: “Please use it freely within the limits of common sense.

"

On social networks and in particular Twitter the news has made the fans around the world talk, who are delighted with this announcement.

Their smartphone and computer wallpapers may be entirely the color of Studio Ghibli films.

The future of studio Ghibli

After the retirement of founder Hayao Miyazaki, studio Ghibli has embarked on a profound change in its partnerships for the distribution of its films abroad, such as the conclusion of agreements with Netflix and the HBO Max platform.

After leaving Disney for the European distributor Wild Bunch, the Ghilbi studio will offer its very first 3D film.
