International Peace Day World Peace and Corona End Wishes High School Students Calligraphy Hiroshima September 21, 14:22

The 21st is "International Peace Day" set by the United Nations.


At Peace Park in Hiroshima City, high school students from the calligraphy club wrote powerful letters in hopes of world peace and the end of the new coronavirus.

At the Peace Park in Hiroshima City, calligraphers and seven students from the Hiroshima Iguchi High School Calligraphy Club performed calligraphy in time for the United Nations' International Day of Peace.



After ringing the peace bell in the park, the students of the calligraphy club began to write powerfully on a piece of paper 3 meters long and 3.5 meters wide with a large brush to the music.



The students wrote the big letter "Yui" with the hope that people would connect with each other to create a peaceful world and that people would unite to end the new coronavirus.



The people who were observing when it was completed were taking pictures and giving big applause.
