  At a briefing on the latest situation of new coronary pneumonia cases that day, Zhang Zhujun, director of the Infectious Diseases Division of the Center for Health Protection of the Department of Health, introduced that of the 6 newly confirmed cases, 4 were imported cases, and 3 of them involved arrivals from the Philippines. One of the foreign domestic helpers in Hong Kong arrived in Hong Kong from Togo; of the two local cases of infection, one was a family member of the previously confirmed case, and the source of the other was unknown. The patient was a 60-year-old outsider working in Qinghai Building, Tianqing Village, Tin Shui Wai commission.

  Regarding the case of unknown origin, Zhang Zhujun continued that the patient would live in a place in Yuen Long on weekends and share the bathroom with other people.

During the incubation period of the virus, the patient also went to a barber shop in Tin Shui Wai to have a haircut and visited Chung Fu Market in Tin Shui Wai.

Since there were also confirmed cases related to Song Fu Market, the Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health has distributed deep-throat saliva sample collection bottles to vendors in the market.

  Zhang Zhujun pointed out that the Department of Health has been constantly reviewing the list of high-risk areas for new coronary pneumonia, and will comprehensively consider whether to list relevant countries or regions as high-risk areas.

  Regarding the diagnosis of COVID-19 by a female researcher of the School of Public Health of the University of Hong Kong, and 14 environmental samples at her workplace were positive for COVID-19, Zhang Zhujun responded that he believed that the virus contained in the environmental samples tested was not contagious but was confirmed The female researcher's office needs to be closed for the 14th, and more than 40 colleagues in the office need to be quarantined.
