Tochigi Prefecture announced on the 20th that it was confirmed that two new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
The two had contact with an infected person related to a home party in Sano City where the cluster occurred, and now there are 46 infected people related to this party.
According to Tochigi Prefecture, on the 20th, both men in their 50s and women in their 20s living in Sano City were newly confirmed to be infected.
The two were confirmed to be infected as a result of a virus test conducted in Sano City on the 5th of this month for contacting an infected person related to the home party where the cluster occurred.
Both of them are mildly ill.
The number of infected people related to this party is now 46, and the prefecture will continue to investigate the infected people's close contacts after the 21st.
A total of 387 people have been confirmed infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
