Ayasrah confirmed in statements to the “Beyond the News” program on (20/9/2020) that the current Egyptian regime is very afraid of the mere idea of demonstrating, because it was the demonstrations that brought down the regime of President Hosni Mubarak, and the “imagined demonstrations” that brought down the regime of President Muhammad Morsi, so Sisi never allows demonstrations, which is what businessman Mohamed Ali has been calling for.

In turn, a member of the Revolutionary Youth Coalition, Yasser Al-Hawari, indicated that demonstrating in Egypt has become a crime since the imposition of the 2014 law that criminalizes any demonstration that takes place without an official permit from the security authorities, indicating at the same time that demonstrations cannot be granted any permission.

Al-Hawari stressed that peaceful protest is one of the most important forms of expressing an opinion of the people and the masses, and it is a basic right that should not be violated as long as the demonstrations do not include any acts of sabotage.

But the writer and analyst Ahmed Al-Anani denied the existence of any effect of the calls for demonstrations launched by Muhammad Ali from Spain, and stressed that the latter does not have any influence or influence on the Egyptian street, stressing that the entire Egyptian street supports Sisi and is grateful for everything he presented to Egypt in terms of economic renaissance and infrastructure And political and security stability in the country.

Al-Anani said that those who responded last year to Muhammad Ali's call were very few of those belonging to what he called terrorist groups, and he accused Muhammad Ali of having an agenda that these groups control.

The Egyptian shop also played down the importance of anti-President Sisi trends that overwhelm social media, stressing that these tweets are also managed by terrorist groups, especially the Muslim Brotherhood, according to his opinion, noting at the same time the dozens of hashtags that Egyptians launch in support of For sissy.

Iron Hand

Although the security restrictions imposed by the authorities in Egypt on Egyptian society, and their success so far in preventing mass demonstrations against Al-Sisi, Al-Hawari confirmed that the tight security grip may succeed for some time in delaying the hour of the explosion, but the explosion will inevitably come and be more severe It also increased repression, and emphasized that the best solution is dialogue by Sisi, leaving an outlet for the people to express their opinion.

Ayasrah, for his part, saw that the moment of the explosion was inevitably coming, and that the development that Sisi’s supporters talked about was not felt by the Egyptian public. Rather, the economic conditions have significantly worsened than they were before Sisi came to power.

Despite the large number of arrests in the Egyptian street, which were not limited to members of the Brotherhood, but included communists, leftists, thinkers, journalists, intellectuals, and some who were affiliated with Sisi, Al-Anani insisted that Sisi Egypt has a real democracy, party pluralism, and an active and effective internal opposition.
