A journey of at least 756 km.

On Saturday, some 200 people left Marseille for Paris with the ambition of reaching the Elysée on foot.

Their demands?

The regularization of undocumented migrants and the closure of administrative detention centers (CRA).

The "March of Solidarity" plans to stop in several cities in France before joining the Elysée on October 17.

In addition to the regularization of undocumented migrants, the organizers who denounce an "inequality of rights on the pretexts of nationality or skin color", call for the closure of the CRAs.

These centers make it possible to detain a foreigner who is the subject of an expulsion decision, pending his forced return, for a period which must not exceed 90 days.
