What specialists call large cultures are cultures which occupy large spaces.

In this large category, cereals occupy a predominant place.

Publicity

In France, in arable crops, production of 29,700,000 tonnes is recorded for 2020.

This is the worst harvest in 20 years.

And more than 50% of producers will not make a profit this year.

In the world, 700 million hectares of cereals are cultivated, or 49% of arable land, with an estimated production of 2.6 billion tons.

At the global level, we must add rice.

In Europe, there are 28 cereal countries.

France is the leading European producer of cereals, on 54% of farms, with production hovering around 62.7 million tonnes.

And the 3 main grains are wheat, barley, and corn.
