LREM deputy Julien Borowczyk and other elected members of the majority in the National Assembly sign a platform in the "JDD" to demand a more systematic vaccination against the flu, while the coronavirus is still circulating in France.

At the microphone of Europe 1, the elected representative of the Loire returns to the motivations which pushed him to sign this text.

The number of new cases of coronavirus is on the rise in France.

The virus continues to circulate and nearly 600 patients are currently in intensive care.

To facilitate care, 75 deputies are appealing this morning in the

Sunday Journal

so that the population is massively vaccinated against influenza this year.

The goal is to limit those who could have the flu and who would be taken for Covid-19 patients, because the first symptoms are similar.

"It is a citizen gesture, more than ever," explains at the microphone of Europe 1 Julien Borowczyk, doctor and chairman of the commission of inquiry at the National Assembly on the coronavirus crisis.

"Any French who wants to be vaccinated must go to be vaccinated"

"It is important, knowing that we do not yet have a vaccine against the coronavirus, to be able to guard against the flu epidemic to avoid cross epidemics", explains the elected representative of the Loire at the microphone of Europe 1 If the French do not get vaccinated, it could lead to congestion in emergency services, hospitals and doctors' offices, says Julien Borowczyk.

But also delays in diagnoses "because unfortunately the warning signs are about the same between the coronavirus and the flu."

"Different populations are brought to my eyes to be vaccinated as a priority", continues Julien Borowczyk, who targets people over 65 and people at risk.

"And then more broadly, obviously, any French who wants to be vaccinated must go to be vaccinated."
