A park in Thailand fights garbage by returning it to its owners

Officials at Khao Yai Park near the Thai capital, Bangkok, announced that they will return the garbage discarded in the area to its owners.

The garbage is expected to be delivered to the home of the person who threw it in the garden as a reminder of the rule of hygiene and concern for nature.

"I hope this event serves as a strong and clear message to all visitors to the park, whether Thai or foreign, that we will not tolerate this kind of selfish and irresponsible behavior," Thai Environment Minister Warawt Silpa Archa said on his Facebook account. .

The minister posted photos of the garbage on Facebook, which was sent to the homes of neglected park visitors via express mail.

The rubbish sent included plastic bottles, cans, glass bottles and meal bags among other waste left by visitors while they visited the park.

The Thai minister confirmed that the government will take strict measures in the coming times against violators who pollute the parks, and said that these decisions will include tourists as well.
