The first public facility to convey the record of the TEPCO Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident was completed in Futaba Town, Fukushima Prefecture, and opened on the 20th.

The prefectural tradition facility "Great East Japan Earthquake and Nuclear Disaster Tradition Center" in Futaba Town, Fukushima Prefecture, which conveys the records of the Great East Japan Earthquake and the nuclear accident to posterity, opened on the 20th and is visited by locals who rushed from the evacuation site. At the time of the opening, Director Noboru Takamura of the Traditional Museum said, "I want you to know how the people of Fukushima faced the unprecedented catastrophe and recovered."



In the exhibition room, there are about 150 materials and videos such as the whiteboard used at the off-site center in Okuma Town, which became the administrative response base, and the facsimile that informs the national and prefectural governments that a serious accident occurred at the nuclear power plant. , Is on display.

A local storyteller will also be stationed in the hall to convey the confusion and protracted effects of the nuclear accident.
