On September 19, the Zhuhai "Doumen Water Wedding" collective wedding event was held in Nan'ao Village, Doumen.
The 18 pairs of newcomers, composed of medical staff, front-line workers in anti-epidemic and epidemic prevention, and those who actively participated in the resumption of work and production, experienced marriage marriage on water, a traditional folk custom that has been popular in water towns for hundreds of years.
Since the first "Doomen Water Marriage" collective wedding was held in 2012, this event has become a cultural feast with strong water town characteristics.
The etiquette of the "Doomen Water Marriage" custom mainly includes: "Sit in the high hall", "Flower boat to welcome relatives", and "Back to the door".
Eighteen couples participated in the ceremony and accepted "Population of Science" at the same time. They had a deeper understanding of "Doumen Water Marriage" and also deeply experienced the unique charm of this traditional marriage custom.
