This year's No. 11 typhoon "Hongxia" (strong tropical storm level), which landed in Vietnam, continues to affect Hainan.

On September 18, in Sanya, primary and secondary schools were closed, and the business of Shehaijing District was closed. Showers hit the city from time to time.

The area around Sanya is one of the main places to bear the typhoon. The rainfall in the past 24 hours has reached 78.6mm.

At noon on the 18th, near the beach of Haiyue Square in Tianya District, Sanya, there were a number of manhole covers on the coastal road with water, and some low-lying places on the road were about 10 cm of water. Vehicles were passing normally.

A large amount of rainwater flows into a river and washes the beach, forming its own "outlet".

In order to prevent clogging of drainage pipes, garden sanitation workers in orange raincoats collected and handled broken branches and fallen leaves on the street during heavy rains.
