A large screen is installed in the hall to convey images of the area immediately after the nuclear accident and the evacuation of residents.



In addition, about 150 materials and videos, such as the whiteboard used at the off-site center, which became the administrative response base, and the materials used for decontamination work, convey the confusion and protracted effects at the time of the nuclear accident. The storyteller is also supposed to be resident.



Initially, Fukushima Prefecture was planned to open in July to coincide with the opening of the Tokyo Olympics, but due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, the production of exhibition videos was delayed by about two months from the schedule. It became open.

The museum is open from 9 am to 5 pm except Tuesdays, which is closed, and the admission fee is 600 yen for adults and 300 yen for children.
