[Explanation] Chongqing Rail Transit has always enjoyed the title of "roller coaster" because of its surpassing mountains and ridges and reaching into the earth. Now it needs another "through train" label.
Starting from September 18th, the Chongqing Rail Transit Circle Line and Line 4 interoperable direct express trains will be put into trial operation for passengers. Direct express trains can run directly from one line to another through the connecting line.
"Interconnection" means that rail transit trains can run directly on interconnected lines. The "connection" is the line, and the "connection" is the train.
After the interconnection is realized, the same train can cross from one line to another without stopping and without changing the driving mode.
Passengers who want to go to other routes can reach their destination without getting off the bus and transfer. This not only reduces the waiting time for passengers to transfer, but also meets the diversified travel needs of passengers.
The trial operation section of the interoperable passenger-carrying operation of the Circle Line and Line 4 is from Chongqing Library Station to Tangjiatuo Station, and the interval between direct and express trains is 30 minutes.
Except for express trains, the operation of other ordinary trains remains unchanged at all times.
Due to the few stops of the direct and express trains, it only takes 35 minutes to run directly from Chongqing Library Station on the Circle Line to Tangjiatuo Station on Line 4, which is about 11 minutes less than ordinary trains, which greatly saves passengers' travel time.

[Explanation] Chen Yongmao, who lives in Tangjiatuo, Jiangbei District, Chongqing, has to go to the Chongqing Library to read books every weekend. In the past, he had to take Metro Line 4 first and then transfer to the Rail Loop to get there.
Since the trial operation of the interconnection between the Circle Line and Line 4, Chen Yongmao can get there directly by taking the express train without changing the train, which greatly saves his travel time.

If I took a car (before), I had to change to Line 4, and then it would take a lot of time to get to the Chongqing Library. Now the direct train is open, which saves me a lot of time.
[Explanation] Because the technical standards adopted by the signal systems between different lines in the rail transit industry are often different, the lines are all single-line operation and are independent of each other, so interconnection has always been a worldwide problem.
After several years of research and preparation, the Chongqing Rail Transit Group has formulated standards and specifications for all links and levels of the interconnection system, and overcome the technical difficulties of rail transit interconnection and interconnection.
