Russian found meteorite 4.5 billion years old

A man from Pisque, southern Siberia, stumbled upon a strange-shaped stone after going to collect mushrooms in a forest.

Upon examination, it was found that the stone resembles a metal fragment, and then it became clear that the mineral stone has the ability to magnetize.

The man suspected that the stone was a meteor, so he decided to consult the experts.

Dr.

Anatoly Gusev, a professor at Altai University of Education and Human Sciences, said that the fragment found by the man, an iron meteor weighing 530 grams, fell to the ground two weeks ago, near the village of Fominsky.

That is why I called it "the Fuminsky meteorite".

Its density was 5.3 grams / square centimeter.

The meteorite is made of pure iron.

He explained that its age is estimated at 4.5 billion years, which corresponds to the age of the planet. According to the professor, the meteorite does not pose any danger to humans because it does not emit any harmful rays.
