With a fashion show of the house "Burberry" filmed in a forest, without an audience or stars in the front row, London Fashion Week opened with a formula through which this event adapts to the health reality prevailing due to "Corona".

The Burberry show, which was held in the middle of a forest, in cooperation with the contemporary German artist, Anne Imhof, gave the launch signal for the London Fashion Week.

The show was broadcast live on the Twitch streaming platform, and about 40,000 users followed it.

And the audience’s interest was boosted by a “Twitch” dialogue that lasted for about half an hour, between artists: Erika Badu, Rosalia, Steve Lacey and model Bella Hadid.

The name "In Bloom" was given to the Spring and Summer 2021 collection, through which the Italian designer, Ricardo Tecchi, continued to renew the designs of the British brand that was founded in 1856.

In London, Fashion Week will witness a limited number of field shows, while 80 designers present their collections until Tuesday, some of them according to dates only, and most of them through video.

The President of the British Fashion Council, Stephanie Veer, told «AFP», that Fashion Week «adapts to a new reality», by presenting shows «on a much smaller level».

Among the designers who dared to give live shows in the presence of an audience, but with the application of social distancing, the Turkish resident in London, Bora Aksu, and the specialist in luxury knitting, Mark Fast, and the Chinese brand "Brunones".

Among the highlights of the week are the formations of the singer in the former "Spice Girls", Victoria Beckham, the South Korean resident in London, Yodon Choi, and the British Molly Goddard.

The London Fashion Week will be "gender neutral" this year, although it is usually devoted to women's fashion alone. In it, collections for women and men, and mixed ones, will be presented, which will be followed by all the upcoming fashion weeks in London.
