According to the forecast from the Central Meteorological Observatory, the impact of "Hongxia" on the rainfall along the south China coast will be concentrated on the 17th to the 19th.

On the 18th, the rain gradually increased. Hainan, the coast of Guangdong and the eastern coast of Guangxi generally experienced heavy to heavy rains, and local heavy rains.
On the 19th, the rainfall brought by the "red clouds" weakened overall, with moderate to heavy rains in Hainan, the western coast of Guangdong, and the eastern coast of Guangxi.

Affected by the typhoon, flights at Hainan Sanya Airport and Haikou Airport on the 18th may be affected, delayed or cancelled, and the weather will improve on the 19th.
The Meteorological Department reminded that ships and marine operators on the sea should pay attention to the movement of the "red clouds", return to the port in time for shelter, and pay attention to safety during coastal and island tourism and water activities.
The periphery of a typhoon is prone to trigger strong convective weather such as short-term heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. Pay attention to the disasters such as factory buildings, tower cranes, temporary structures, outdoor billboards, and tree collapse caused by strong convective weather.
