In the next gen console war, Microsoft and Sony have cut their cards.

Wednesday evening, it is the Japanese manufacturer who formalized the release date and the price of the Playstation 5. Which will be launched in November (the 12th in North America, Japan, South Korea, Oceania and Mexico) and the 19th in the rest of the world including France.

The premium model will cost 499 euros, and the "digital edition" version without Blu-ray player 399 euros.

Microsoft had announced the Xbox series X and S for November 10 at 499 and 299 euros.

Some games at 80 euros

During its online event, Sony confirmed the availability of five house games at launch:

Astro's Playroom

,

Demon's Souls

,

Destruction All Stars

,

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales

,

Sackboy A Big Adventure

.

On the side of third-party editors, we expect

Note that the last

Spider-Man

and

Horizon Forbidden West

(expected in 2021) will also be released on PS4.

On Wednesday, SquareEnix also unveiled the first images of

Price wise, it's the bad surprise with some titles from Sony studios announced at 79.99 euros in Europe, like
