The two Belarusian photojournalists were arrested in Minsk this weekend and sentenced to eleven days in prison, reports SR: s Kulturnytt.
The journalists are accused of having taken part in an unauthorized street protest, while they and their clients have stated that they were present to cover the events as journalists.
A total of 17 independent news sites are participating in the image strike to protest the verdict.
