Two students injured per hammer throw iron ball During high school club activities Iwate September 16 22:00

Around 4:30 pm on the 16th, at the ground of Morioka Agricultural High School in Takizawa City, the fire department was notified that two students were hit by a hammer throw iron ball that was supposedly thrown by the students during club activities in the track and field club.



According to the fire department and high school, the iron ball hit the boys aged 16 and 17, not the track and field team members.



A 16-year-old boy was injured in the head and was taken to the Iwate Prefectural Advanced Emergency and Critical Care Center, and a 17-year-old boy was injured in the neck and was taken to the Prefectural Central Hospital in Morioka City for treatment.



Morioka Agricultural High School will check the physical condition of the two students and investigate the situation at that time in detail.



Hideichi Kamiyama, principal of Morioka Agricultural High School, commented, "I don't know what the students are, but I will try to prevent recurrence so that the same thing will never happen again."
