Dozens of radio hosts will lend their voice to Radio Restos, a webradio launched by the Restos du cœur and which will broadcast from October 2 to 4, in order to raise funds for the association.

The idea for this solidarity station - broadcast on the radio.restosducoeur.org site and via an iOS and Android application - was born from an exchange between volunteers and a trio of animators, Laurent Petitguillaume, Manu Lévy and Bruno Guillon .

A return to the roots and to Coluche's call

The purpose of this ephemeral web radio, lasting 48 hours, is to finance the renewal of the NGO's refrigerated truck fleet, each vehicle costing around 40,000 euros, while the food distribution needs have increased with the health crisis.

It is a homecoming, since the association was born from a famous call for solidarity launched by Coluche in the mid-1980s, on the waves of Europe 1.

About thirty personalities have already responded to the appeal of the Restos du cœur to host new shows or revive the programs that made them successful.

Besides the trio behind this initiative, are announced in particular Arthur, Nagui, Cécile de Ménibus, Cauet, Eric Jean-Jean, Karine Le Marchand, Manu Payet ...
