  According to an official Weibo report from the Public Security Bureau of Danzhou City, Hainan Province, a media release on the same day titled "A woman in Danzhou ran away for three days, the surveillance did not run away" aroused public attention.

The Songming Police Station of the bureau received a report from Zheng, a man of Hebei origin, on September 13, stating that his wife Fan ran away from home on the morning of September 12 and has not returned.

After receiving the request for help, the police from the police station quickly intervened in the investigation and worked with his family to search for Fan.

After various searches, Fan had returned home smoothly at 8 o'clock in the evening on September 15.
