A real obsession for owners, the eviction of squatters could be simplified.

The Minister in charge of Housing, Emmanuelle Wargon supported an amendment in this direction on Monday, after an owner saw his second home occupied by a family without their consent, on the Côte d'Azur.

Located in Théoule-sur-Mer, the property has been occupied for nearly three weeks, since the end of August, by a family and their children.

The property was returned and "accommodation offered to the occupying family," said the minister.
