"World First Aid Day" is initiated by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and it takes place on the second Saturday of September each year.
On this day, National Societies of various countries held various activities to publicize and popularize the knowledge and skills of emergency care to the public.
At the event site on the 12th, student volunteers from the nursing major of Zhangjiakou College demonstrated cardiopulmonary resuscitation, wound dressing and other emergency rescue skills. The simulated rescue session demonstrated trauma rescue in two sudden situations of athletes injured on snow roads and accidental injuries of foreign audiences. According to reports, the Red Cross, the International Federation of Red Crescent Societies and the International Olympic Committee have a long history of cooperation.
