She is 101 years old .. a retired British woman walks in and collects donations to help doctors

Joan Rich, a former nurse who participated in World War II, raised £ 22,000 for the National Health Service in Britain during her outing.

According to the Belfast Telegraph, the retired 101-year-old decided to take 102 rides in the local park to mark her 102nd birthday.

The newspaper indicates that retired Joan Rich decided to follow in the footsteps of the ancient British warrior Tom Moore, who participated in World War II, and managed to collect the sum of 32 million pounds during his 100 laps in a 25-meter-long yard before reaching 100 years.

The retiree has now completed 100 laps at Felixstow Allenby Park.

The length of each cycle is 560 meters, which the woman travels with the help of a wheel or a wheelchair.

She will perform her last session on Friday, September 11, which coincides with her birthday.

The retiree's daughter has created a page on JustGiving where all those interested can support Joan's initiative.

The money donated by more than a thousand people exceeded the target set for the event.

"The only thing I could do to help is walk like a warrior Tom, and I hope it does something good," says Joan.
