According to Tottori Prefecture, eight new cases of infection were confirmed in Gunma, Tochigi, and Shizuoka prefectures, including men and women in their 20s and 50s.



The eight people drove to Tottori Prefecture on the 6th of this month for construction-related work, and then lived together in a dormitory in Yonago City.



As a result of having undergone a PCR test as a close contact of a man in Tochigi prefecture who was in the same dormitory and was confirmed to be infected on the 11th, all of them were confirmed to be infected.



Eight people are hospitalized at medical institutions in the prefecture, but none of them have any symptoms.



Tottori Prefecture says that a group of infected people = clusters have occurred for the first time in the prefecture, and we are listening to the history of behavior and investigating in detail whether there are any other people who have come into contact with it.



The number of infected people has been the lowest in Japan, along with Iwate Prefecture, but the total number is 31.
