China News Service, September 11, according to the official WeChat message of the Propaganda Department of Doumen District Committee of Zhuhai City, this morning, a gas explosion occurred near the Tenghu Hotel in Baiteng Street, Doumen District, causing varying degrees of damage to surrounding shops and residential buildings. The medical, emergency and other departments have been there for the first time.
As of 10 o'clock, the open flame at the scene had been extinguished.
According to preliminary information, 3 people were injured in the incident, including 2 minor injuries and 1 burn (injury to be confirmed). The injured have been sent to a nearby hospital by 120 for treatment, and no one is trapped.
Cause of the accident is under further investigation.
The traffic police department has imposed temporary traffic control on Baiteng 2nd Road, Baiteng Gate and Tengda Road in Doumen District.
