  On September 11, a duty officer of the Peng'an County Health Bureau confirmed to The Paper (www.thepaper.cn) that the aforementioned "Statement of Information" was issued by the bureau.

Students with fever were diagnosed as "general viral infection".

  The "Statement" was signed on September 10, and its content showed: At 8:30 on the 9th, the Luojia Central Health Center received a call from Luojia Middle School, stating that there were more than 10 cases of feverish students in Class 6 of the eighth grade.

The Luojia Central Health Center sent professionals to the school for temperature testing, on-site isolation and situation investigation.

At 9:40, the county health bureau received a call from the Luojia Central Health Center and arranged for the county CDC staff and Luojia Central Health Center doctors to go to the school to recheck the students’ temperature, blood routine, serum nucleic acid, and Pharyngeal test paper sampling (nucleic acid).

  After re-examination by the County Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Luojia Center Health Center, the body temperature of the 18 feverish students was below 38.5, which was considered low fever.

Subsequently, the county hospital arranged 120 ambulances to transfer the students to the county hospital for CT examination.

After the first blood routine test by the Luojia Center Health Center, there was no abnormality. The county hospital had no abnormalities in CT, the influenza A and B virus tests were negative, the serum nucleic acid was negative, and the county CDC pharyngeal test paper was negative.

  The “Statement” also stated that in order to ensure the accuracy of the test results, the county health bureau arranged for the county hospital to re-test all fever students with influenza A and B, pharyngeal test paper nucleic acid, etc., and the results were normal and the diagnosis was normal. Sexual virus infection, and each student was prescribed oral medication and escorted home by 120 ambulances for treatment.

  At present, through telephone follow-up, all students have no fever, runny nose and other symptoms.
