In each one he has engraved the name of a deceased.
Then he has put them all together on an altar in his monastery in Shandong province.
Every morning, in front of the tombstones, he lights some candles, offers fresh fruit as an offering and recites Taoist scriptures so that the souls raptured by the pandemic may rest in peace. What do the Chinese believe?
