Recently, according to Khorgos Customs statistics, from January to July 2020, Khorgos Port's import and export freight volume was 17.596 million tons, and the trade volume was 59.551 billion yuan. Both import and export freight volume and trade volume ranked first in Xinjiang.
Data shows that the imported commodities at Horgos Port are mainly traditional bulk commodities such as natural gas, timber, iron ore, wheat bran, and licorice.
The export commodities are mainly mechanical and electrical products, clothing, footwear, textile fabrics and products, fruits and vegetables, and are mainly exported to five Central Asian countries and Russia.
