Don't panic, that doesn't mean everything stops right away.

At the same time, the production announced that the final season (which will begin at the end of 2021) will feature 24 episodes.

And in the meantime, there will also be 7 episodes of the 10th season (postponed due to coronavirus), as well as 6 bonus episodes, which will be broadcast in early 2021.

Not even dead

We also know that the story of the main character of the series, sheriff Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln), who left the program last season, should end with a film, whose release date has not yet still not been announced.

But the good news in all of this is that AMC has finally decided to offer a spin-off to one of the favorite characters of fans of

The Walking Dead

: that of Daryl Dixon, played by Norman Reedus.

This new series will therefore focus on Daryl but also on Carol, the character of Melissa McBride.

If the original comic book concluded its story in July 2019, television seems determined to take over to go as far as possible in the exploitation of the license.
