Therefore, he appeals to charitable people to help him meet the costs of renewing his parents' health insurance card, for he is very afraid that their lives will be in danger.

The son (Ali) narrated to “Emirates Today” the story of his parents ’suffering with illness, saying that“ their health condition has deteriorated a lot, 10 years ago, as my father used to complain of frequent and permanent headaches, and at that time he worked as a salesman in a supermarket, and one day he fainted Suddenly, he fell to the ground, and his friend took over the work of a first aid, and he was immediately taken to the nearest hospital.

The son added: “My father went with his friend to the emergency department at Tawam Hospital in Al-Ain, and after seeing the specialist, he asked him to undergo laboratory tests and analyzes, in addition to blood tests, and the results of the tests showed that he was suffering from a sharp rise in blood pressure, which caused him to lose consciousness. In addition to high cholesterol.

He continued: “The doctor asked my father to take medicines for hypertension, adhere to them, and follow a diet to prevent hypertension, in addition to exercising daily, and taking sufficient time for psychological rest, and he also asked him to conduct regular checks to monitor pressure continuously.” .

The son added that during that period, his mother suffered from pain in the lower back, which made her lose the ability to move normally, so she became bedridden, so he took her to Tawam Hospital as well, as it is the closest government hospital to the home, and after examining her, he asked her to undergo examinations and CT scans, and the result showed that she was suffering She suffers from diabetes mellitus, high blood pressure, and a lack of vitamin "D". She needs to take medicines and vitamins on a regular basis, and in the absence of access to medication, this will cause complications, which will pose a threat to her life.

(Ali) indicated that his parents kept on taking special medicines so that their health condition did not deteriorate, and committed to conducting checks periodically, and their health condition improved relatively, but since a year ago he was unable to renew his parents' health insurance card, which caused them not to go to the hospital periodically. And they relied on their treatment in private clinics that barely alleviated their pain, explaining that the renewal of his parents' health insurance card needs 25 thousand dirhams, and his financial circumstances do not allow him to procure this amount.

He said that, at present, he is completely unable to provide even a small part of the costs of renewing the health insurance for his parents, especially since he is the only provider for his family of five, in addition to his parents, and works in a private company with a salary of 8500 dirhams, and he has many obligations, including the costs of his children in Schools.

He pointed out that he provides financial assistance to his brother and his brother’s family, after he lost his job due to the Corona crisis, and became without any source of income, calling for the hands of good people to reach him, to help him meet the costs of renewing his parents ’health insurance card, in order to provide them with daily medicines. So that their lives are not in danger, given their old age and their urgent need for treatment.
