The organization or individual has successively carried out more than a dozen illegal and criminal facts such as forced trading, provocation, intentional injury, obstruction of public affairs, illegal occupation of agricultural land, and bribery, which seriously disrupted social order and undermined economic stability.
The court of first instance, based on the facts, nature, circumstances, and attitudes of confession and repentance of each defendant, in accordance with the law, organized and led the crime of underworld organizations, crimes of trafficking and manufacturing of drugs, crimes of bribery, crimes of forced trading, crimes of illegal occupation of agricultural land, and forgery Company and people’s organization seal crimes, intentional injury crimes, quarrels and provocations, crimes of obstruction of official duties, illegal possession of firearms, the defendant Zhang Jiaai was sentenced to death, deprived of political rights for life, and all personal property confiscated; the remaining defendants Tan Chuntuan, etc. Ten people were sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment ranging from 25 to four years, as well as the confiscation of all personal property or corresponding fines. After the verdict was pronounced in the first instance, all 11 defendants appealed.
