The reporter learned from the Guangzhou Zoo on September 8 that after careful care, the newly-born sisters "Duo Duo" and "Tutu", the second-class national protected animals, are currently in good condition and will soon meet with tourists.

According to reports, on June 30 this year, the Fennec Fox family in Guangzhou Zoo welcomed a pair of "sister flowers".

On July 8, the mother fennec fox was frightened and abandoned her cub.

This pair of "sister flowers" was only about 100 grams at the time, and was artificially fed under the rescue of the nurses.

After two months of care by the nurses, "Duo Duo" and "Tu Tu" now weigh about 600 grams, their big ears have slowly opened up, and they are in good health.

Fennec fox is one of the smallest canines in the world.

Fennec foxes gradually form large ears through long-term natural selection, and dissipate heat through the ears to adapt to the dry and hot desert climate, and at the same time can quickly respond to the small sounds around them.
