An action aimed at denouncing violence and sexual assault will be organized this Saturday, September 12 by a feminist collective from Caen (Calvados),.

Called Les Soeurcières, this collective had already brought together people around these issues on January 11.

This time, the action called "I believe you" will be held in around thirty cities simultaneously, reports the weekly

Liberté - Le Bonhomme libre

.

In Lyon, Marseille, Lille or even Bordeaux and of course Caen, people will therefore come together to denounce violence and sexual assault.

Victims will be present and they will carry signs with their own testimony.

A moment of listening and support

"We will be there to support them, to tell them" I believe you "and to bear the testimonies of those who do not wish or cannot come to action", assures our colleagues, the feminist collective at the origin of the action.

The event, which is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. at Place Bouchard, will be held in silence to allow those who wish to express themselves.

This September 12 will therefore be synonymous with freedom of speech.

This day "will be an opportunity to show the victims that we believe them at all costs, that we know what they have to go through and that henceforth they are no longer alone", explain the Sisters.

One way to do justice by listening.
