The melons and watermelons grown in spring came on the market in May 2020. Off-season sales have brought him unexpected harvests. Excluding the input of contracting fees and fertilizers, he earned a total of RMB 23,500.

  [Explanation] Previously, most of the villagers had no experience in arch shed planting management. Last year or even at the beginning of this year, many villagers hesitated to contract for arch sheds.

Xu Yeping, vice chairman of the Xinjiang Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the first secretary of the village, said that in response to this situation, the village work team specially hired technicians and senior agronomists to visit each house, visit the fields, and hold fruit and vegetable management on-site meetings. The villagers gradually mastered the essentials of planting technology.

Yaerbexi Village is only a 15-minute drive from Kashgar. In spring, 20 kinds of fruits and vegetables including flowers and strawberries in the "fruit and vegetable picking base" attract tourists to pick and buy.

In addition, many supermarket chains in Kashgar have set up special counters for agricultural products in Yaerbexi Village; during the epidemic prevention and control period, the villagers provided more than 50 tons of agricultural and sideline products to communities in Kashgar on the premise of taking good measures to prevent and control the epidemic.
