Sanbao Yi Township, Qinglong County, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province is one of the 20 extremely poor towns in Guizhou Province.
At the end of 2015, Guizhou Province launched a large-scale relocation for poverty alleviation. Sanbao Yi Township was relocated to the outskirts of Qinglong County, Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Southwestern Guizhou.
The resettlement site is an exquisite residence with ethnic characteristics, named "Amei Qituo Town".
In 2019, Ameiqituo Town was listed as a national AAA tourist attraction.
The small town of Ameiqituo regards the development of characteristic ethnic tourism industry and the strengthening of infrastructure construction as the main way to fight poverty, bringing development opportunities to new residents.
The villagers opened shops and workshops, and new energy automobile companies, ethnic clothing companies and other enterprises were introduced into the town to welcome a better new life with a more open attitude.
