The Soulages museum, in Rodez, had resumed its cruising speed after the period of confinement.

But the coronavirus epidemic was invited on Sunday within the Aveyron cultural establishment, which bears the name of the master of the Outrenoir.

Several cases of Covid-19 have been detected among reception and surveillance agents at the Soulages museum in Rodez.

To avoid any spread among the staff, it was decided to place the agents concerned in fourteen.

This forced the entire museum to close, as the reception of the public could no longer be assured given the number of agents concerned.

The doors of the Rodez establishment will therefore be closed until September 20, 2020 inclusive.
