The total number of people infected with the new coronavirus announced in the prefecture was 4,133.
In addition, Saitama City announced that one male in his 60s who had been hospitalized at a medical institution in the prefecture was confirmed dead after being infected with the new coronavirus.
Out of the confirmed cases of infection in the prefecture, 94 people have died.
