Asked about his vision of the current French music scene, singer Pierre Perret had a little phrase as cute as murderous about rapper Booba, in Anne Roumanoff's show "It feels good".

Pierre Perret versus Booba.

It's a game that we can hardly imagine in the octagon or the

duty free

zone

at Orly airport.

Yet it did play out, but at the microphone of Europe 1. Asked about the artists who asked him for a collaboration, Pierre Perret addressed rapper Booba with a quirky formulation.

The singer of

Zizi

was the guest of Anne Roumanoff and the band of "It feels good" for his tour of "provisional farewell" which begins on September 13.

"He can go back to angling"

Pierre Perret opened the sequence by denouncing a type of rap that he does not appreciate.

"There is so much mediocrity in what we hear, especially among hate rappers. I mean hate rappers," he insists.

"In addition to the sublime literature that they distill for us in the honey cages, it's au gratin."

Which explains why the 86-year-old singer never responded to a request for collaboration from rapper Booba.

"Oh no, he, I think he can go back to angling," he laughs.

The rapper is not the only artist to have contacted Pierre Perret.

"I receive a lot of mail, especially to endorse texts," he reveals.

"There are people who write pretty well and tell things."

Among these artists who find favor with the eyes of the singer is notably Madame Monsieur, a duo who represented France at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2018. We also find the one that Pierre Perret nicknamed "my little Zaz", of which he does not understand that 'it is also the object of criticism.
