A British woman discovered her pregnancy an hour before giving birth

A woman thought she was gaining weight because she was eating a lot of snacks during the lockdown due to the Corona pandemic, but it turned out that she was pregnant only an hour before the birth of her baby.

According to the British newspaper "Daily Mail",

Tasha Davis (28 years) and her husband Martin Hearn (29 years), from Wigan in Lancashire, were not aware that they were waiting for the birth of a child even an hour before birth, when their son Alexander Isaac Gohan Hearn arrived. He was born healthy, weighing 4kg, last Tuesday.

According to "Russia Today," the new mother was admitted to Wigan Hospital after she suffered severe stomach pain the night before.

Tasha and Martin were shocked to discover that she was experiencing symptoms because she was in labor.

The couple was stunned by the birth of their child.

Tasha said, "It was a mixture of shock and surprise. I had no nausea in the morning and had no pregnancy symptoms at all. About 24 hours before delivery, my stomach became really swollen. By that time, I was having severe stomach pain." So we thought something was really wrong. "

And Tasha added, "When we got to the hospital, I asked the nurses if I was pregnant and I said no. But then they said they would take a test. We were in utter shock when the results arrived."

At 41 weeks pregnant, Tasha, who works as a legal aid, had no idea she was carrying a baby as her period continued as if there was no pregnancy.

She also expected to gain weight due to snacking during the coronavirus lockdown.

"I've been working really long hours from home during the lockdown, snacking a lot and never going to the gym or doing any real exercise at all," she said.
