New steps towards peace in Sudan this week, with the signing of a peace agreement with several rebel movements in Juba on Monday, August 31, then of an important "declaration of principles" between civilian Prime Minister Abdallah Hamdok and the leader of an influential rebellion in the south of the country, Abdelaziz al-Hilu, this Thursday evening, September 3.

All eyes are now on another rebel movement, led by Darfuri Abdelwahid Nur, which has so far refused to negotiate its inclusion in civilian political life.

To better understand this important week, our guest this Sunday morning is the researcher Jean-Baptiste Gallopin, specialist in Sudan.

He answers questions from Léonard Vincent.
