At the Summit Forum on New Trends in the Development of Service Trade, the guests discussed the topics of "New Trends in Service Trade Development" and "Service Trade Facilitation".

We must continue to relax market access in the service sector, fully implement the pre-access national treatment plus a negative list management system, further reduce the negative list of foreign investment access, accelerate the opening process of medical, cultural, education, telecommunications and other fields, and introduce cross-border services Trade negative lists, strengthen open institutional and structural arrangements, release the potential of China’s big market, and jointly explore new growth momentum and development paths.
[Explanation] Wang Bingnan said that China will continue to optimize the business environment for the service industry, promote the construction of open platforms such as the expansion of the pilot free trade zone service industry, accelerate the exploration of institutional innovation measures for the opening of the service industry, and create more fair and open investment surroundings.

He emphasized that the development of China's service trade and the world's service trade is a community of shared destiny, and all countries should abandon their prejudices, unite and overcome difficulties together.

Cross-border payment, overseas consumption, commercial existence, and the movement of natural persons are the four basic methods of service trade. These trade methods involve the cross-border flow of funds, goods, personnel, and especially information, and require the cooperation of the customs of relevant countries. It is even more necessary for relevant departments in the world to increase mutual trust and common standards, to break all kinds of explicit and implicit trade barriers, to accelerate the flow of cross-border data, and the formulation of new issues and new rules such as cross-border e-commerce.
