[Explanation] When disasters happen unfortunately, search and rescue dogs, as a special search and rescue method, play an important role in rescue work.
Zhu Yong was simulating the search and rescue scene for us. The search and rescue dog found the signs of life under the rubble and barked in place to call the police for rescue.
This is a mountainous area in Datong County, Qinghai Province. Zhu Yong, the head of the Red Star Disaster Rescue Search and Rescue Dog Training Center in Qinghai Plateau, took his 19 well-trained search and rescue dogs to settle here and stand by.
Zhu Yong established this private rescue agency in 2014. In addition to training search and rescue dogs on weekdays, his organization is also obliged to undertake rescue missions. Since 2014, he has performed 140 missions for free, totaling 8712 hours.

The main peak of Laji Mountain is 4850 Bing Niu Peak. The altitude was 4850 at that time. Two members of a business climbing team were missing. At that time, our yellow Rakai (dog name) dog went to search and pointed out the direction.
[Explanation] Zhu Yong’s fate with search and rescue dogs was forged when he was a teenager. The father of military origin took him to see military dogs. He also adopted a shepherd dog in junior high school. When he went to Japan to study in 1999, he was a guide in Osaka. As a volunteer at the Blind Dog Center, after returning to China, Zhu Yong volunteered to participate in the rescue work of the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake and 2010 Yushu earthquake. He was mainly responsible for caring for the search and rescue dogs. At the same time, he also found the search and rescue dogs in the plains, which did not work well. Adapt to the environment and topography of the plateau area.
Therefore, he wanted to train a search and rescue dog adapted to the plateau area.

In order to improve the practicality of the search and rescue dog and its emergency and pioneering role, it was thought to establish scientific research and experimental training for high mountain search and rescue.
[Explanation] Since returning to Xining in 2009, Zhu Yong began the preparations for the search and rescue dog center.
Due to the late introduction of domestic search and rescue dogs, there is no unified evaluation standard. After years of training, he drafted the Qinghai regional standard of "Search and Rescue Dog Altitude Work Ability Level Evaluation". There are 7 search and rescue dogs in the training base that meet the standard "certified work" .
Talking about the growth of these seven search and rescue dogs, Zhu Yong also had a bitter tear.

Because there was no space, I just started fostering in the basement of my own Nanshan Road. As the dog grew up, the training needed and the environment changed, I bought a van and put 7 puppies in the car. After about a year, it is equivalent to vehicle carrying training, taking them to the training field during the day, about 12 kilometers away from us, and then pulling them to the parking space at night to let them rest
[Explanation] Since search and rescue missions are mostly for public welfare, the operating cost of feeding training is not low at ordinary times, so there are few such private organizations. Zhu Yong has been on this road for more than ten years and is currently in debt with millions of dollars. Take some dog training to maintain expenses.
At first, the family members also objected, but seeing that the search and rescue results have actually helped others, they began to give their full support. Among the seven junior trainers at the search and rescue center, five were his family members, and even the eldest sister was onsite to help, responsible for feeding training and other tasks.
