On September 4, on the First Channel, the stage of blind auditions of the new, third in a row, the show "Voice 60+" began.

65 participants passed the casting this year.

Of these, only 20 people will be able to work with mentors - each team will have five vocalists.

The coaching staff underwent radical changes again.

Lev Leshchenko, who worked with the participants of both previous seasons, this time was joined by Elena Vaenga, Tamara Gverdtsiteli and Garik Sukachev.

According to a long-standing tradition, the season opened with a joint number of mentors who performed the hit "I recognize a sweetheart by his walk ...".

Galina Grozina was the first of the contestants.

The 73-year-old artist has a professional musical education - Grozina plays the piano and button accordion.

The participant of the show chose the song "A bird cherry outside the window" as her debut number.

All four mentors decided to invite her to their teams.

Lev Leshchenko admitted that he paid attention primarily to the ability to express emotions, and Elena Vaenga noted that she recognized a Siberian woman in Grozina by her voice.

As a result, the artist became the first ward of Garik Sukachev.

71-year-old Valentin Buzovkin came to the shooting from the Tula region.

His performance of Lucho Dalla's composition "In Memory of Caruso" especially touched Lev Leshchenko, who noted a truly Italian sound - and accepted the musician into his team.

It is interesting that the vocalist applied for participation with his wife - the couple was going to sing a duet.

In this episode, they had the opportunity to perform together the popular Italian song Cosa sei.

Svetlana Trifonova from Nizhny Novgorod works as deputy director of the gymnasium and teaches French.

She, by her confession, uses music in her profession to captivate students with her subject.

When Trifonova sang the song "I will not part with the Komsomol", all the mentors sang along, and later shared memories of their youth.

The performer did not advance to the next stage of the project, but before leaving, she sang Edith Piaf's song Padam ... Padam ....

A professional bass player from Krasnodar, Valery Agabekov, interested Lev Leshchenko and Tamara Gverdtsiteli with his version of Nat King Cole's LOVE.

The performer went to the Gverdtsiteli team.

74-year-old Inna Badanina sang and played Tchaikovsky's "Neapolitan Song" on the piano.

Although none of the mentors turned to her, the show fulfilled an old dream of the participant - to perform to the accompaniment of conductor Sergei Zhilin, whose orchestra has provided instrumental accompaniment to the show since the first season.

Irina Anikina at the blind auditions made a bet on the composition "White Swan".

Lev Leshchenko noted that the performer "felt operetta hardening."

He was ready to take the participant to his team, but Anikina chose to join Elena Vaenga's team.

Vyacheslav Olkhovsky has previously appeared on the stage of the show "The Voice".

In 2012, he took part in the first season of the program on Russian television, but then he did not go beyond blind auditions.

This time, his rendition of the theme Speak Softly, Love from The Godfather unfolded all four seats.

Olkhovsky decided to continue the competition under the leadership of Elena Vaenga.

Musician and teacher Lyudmila Mozoleva performed with the composition "Yellow Leaves".

Although the mentors did not turn to her, Elena Vaenga appreciated the high professionalism of the participant.

Mozoleva also delighted the audience with a song of her own composition.

Andrey Papazyan from Sochi performed the song My Way, known by Frank Sinatra.

He managed to impress Tamara Gverdtsiteli, whose team he went to.

Alla Maksimova, unlike most of the participants in the release, never studied vocals.

The composition "Friendship" did not allow her to get into the next stage of the project, however, all four mentors went on stage and, together with the contestant, performed the song again.

As a result of graduation, the teams of Lev Leshchenko and Garik Sukachev turned out to have one participant each, and Elena Vaenga and Tamara Gverdtsiteli got two artists each.

Interactive and innovations

This season, the project will resume voting for the best mentor.

Also, viewers will be able to take part in the quiz, which will be available on the interactive air, on the website and in the mobile application of the TV channel.

“We really hope, we are waiting for new talents to appear, some new genres - not everything has been revealed yet,” Lev Leshchenko noted on the eve of the season.

He also admitted that he continues to follow the creative success of his charges from past seasons.

Elena Vaenga, who was in the mentor's chair for the first time, noted that she did not immediately decide to participate in the project.

According to her, she has great respect for people of the older generation, so the position of a critic and a leader was unusual for her.

In connection with the coronavirus pandemic, precautions have been introduced on the set: social distance is respected, and everyone who does not enter the frame at the time of shooting is required to wear medical masks.
