“Umm Reem” (Palestinian) is unable to pay 29,600 dirhams, the accumulated tuition fees for her two daughters, Reem and Nour, for the past two years and the current one.

And (Umm Reem) is facing difficult circumstances, after she became the sole breadwinner for her family, due to her husband's cancer four years ago, which led to him losing his job, and currently she is without a job due to the circumstances of the Corona pandemic, and her two daughters are threatened with deprivation from completing their studies, and appeals to the family Good lend a helping hand to her.

Umm Reem told Al-Emarat Al-Youm that her financial situation had worsened very much, after her husband had been diagnosed with bone marrow cancer since 2016, and as a result he lost his job, and she became the only breadwinner for her family of four, noting that the spread of the new Corona virus This led to her losing her job, which affected the situation and stability of the family, and the accumulation of debts and tuition fees on her shoulders, including the delay in paying the tuition fees for her two daughters (Reem) and (Nour), which led to the failure to complete their studies.

She added: “After my husband fell ill with cancer, our condition became worse, but at that time I worked as a receptionist for a private company with a salary of 4000 dirhams, and my salary barely met the requirements of our life, but the company I work for, and due to the (Corona) crisis, stopped working, From here, my suffering began in the face of my life circumstances, and the lives of my family members. ”

And she continued, "I had a small sum of money, from which I paid part of the rent and the requirements of daily life. I have knocked on the doors of charities in the country, so that I can support my family, but I have not been able to get any help."

And she said, “Until now, I am still looking for any source of help that would allow me to support my family members, but there are financial obligations that do not wait. I have been patient with many of the problems that I faced and endured, but my problem that I could not be patient with is the cost of my daughters’ tuition fees ( Reem) and (Nour), who are studying in a private school in Fujairah, I cannot bear seeing them lose a year of their lives, due to matters that they have no involvement in. ”

She added: “My daughters (Reem) are in the eighth grade and (Nour) in the sixth grade, and they are both excelling in studies, and they dream that they will become doctors in the future to treat cancer patients, and if they are not able to complete their educational career this year, they will be very frustrated and sad. And I can't do anything for them. ”

And she continued, "It is not easy for a mother to see her two daughters being deprived of their most basic rights, which is education, and I stand unable to pay their school arrears fees."

She expressed her hope that the hands of good people and those with merciful hearts would reach them, in order to manage the tuition arrears for her two daughters.
