Fans of the Tour de France will not have missed the exchange between Alexandre Pasteur and the consultant Thomas Voeckler in full live Wednesday on France 2. Known for his outspokenness, the former wearer of the yellow jersey did not fail to taunt the journalist when he asked him "a stupid question".

A sequence that obviously did not escape our chronicler Bertrand Chameroy.

"Is it easier to drive quietly or to drive full?"

The question, not his best, from sports journalist Alexandre Pasteur addressed to Thomas Voeckler earned him a dry answer from the former runner who became a consultant on France Televisions.

"Ah bah that's a stupid question!", Retorted the former wearer of the yellow jersey directly from the 5th stage between Gap and Privas on Wednesday.

And that's not all, as our columnist Bertrand Chameroy spotted: during a break in Vélo Club, some of their colleagues around the set continued to discuss and laugh at this exchange.

A sequence broadcast by mistake

The action takes place in two stages.

First live on France 2, where Alexandre Pasteur's question earned him a rather dry answer from Thomas Voeckler.

Their colleagues on the set can't hold back their laughter.

The second part of this sequence takes place off the air, during the commercial break of

Vélo Club

, the debriefing program of the Tour de France.

If France 2 viewers have the publicity at home, those who watch the program on the France TV website are entitled to go behind the scenes.

Indeed, as revealed by Bertrand Chameroy, the microphones were not cut at that time.

The spectators were thus able to benefit from the amused comments of Franck Ferrand, historian of the Tour: "There was a small hitch between Alexandre Pasteur and Thomas Voeckler ... Well, we are entitled to it every year!", He smiles.

"Last year they did this to us before. But usually they wait a bit."

According to Franck Ferrand, Alexandre Pasteur has indeed not tasted Thomas Voeckler's reply.

"He did not take it well at all, he almost came out!", He sums up to those around the table who did not necessarily attend the whole scene.

"He closed himself. Finally you know how he is ..."

And the historian is not the only colleague of Alexandre Pasteur to have fun with the sequence.

The conversation caught by mistake continues between the former rider Yoann Offredo and the journalist Matthieu Lartot.

"I found that very funny indeed. It was precisely the good moment of the race", explains one under the laughter of the other, in reference to this very boring 5th stage.

A "nice moment" which is unfortunately no longer available on the France Télévisions site.

The sequence recorded during the commercial break was in fact removed from the

But luckily for you, Bertrand Chameroy immortalized it and invites you to listen to it again.
