  • The second issue of

    Koh-Lanta: Les 4 Terres

was broadcast this Friday on TF1.

  • Surprise, these are two candidates who had to pack their bags: François (from the West) after an injury, and Carole (from the South) after being eliminated.

  • They confide in

    20 Minutes

     on this episode with twists.

If we had had to bet on the departure of a candidate for medical reasons, we would not have bet on François.

This is not the only surprise we have in the second episode of

Koh-Lanta: The 4 Lands

broadcast this Friday on TF1.

One of the new season rules is to send the losing Tribe of the Comfort Trial directly to the Islet of Exile.

Bad luck for the Greens, representatives of the East, who had to go there again, for the second week in a row.

And the morale in Alexandra's (wet) socks could have turned the adventure upside down.

But ultimately, the drama happened on the immunity game.

While the Oranges de l'Ouest celebrate their second place, François, who was not participating, jumps for joy to join them.

“I land on my legs and I feel a big stab in my left calf,” says the candidate to

20 Minutes

.

As soon as he puts his foot on the ground, it's like "electricity blows" going through his leg.

“At this point, I feel my adventure is in jeopardy.

"

"I suspect that if he is there, it is not to invite me to eat a bite"

Taken by boat to a clinic, François had to undergo additional examinations before learning that he was suffering from a torn calf.

When he sees Denis Brogniart disembarking in the tent, his fear is confirmed.

"I suspect that if he is there, it is not to invite me to eat a bite", jokes the adventurer today.

But the news is hard to swallow, he who saw himself reaching the orienteering race in the final, while fighting for his son, victim of a serious accident in his youth.

Could François have reconciled the adventure and his strong temperament?

Could he have exceeded his limits in the face of the lack of food, his biggest fear?

Questions to which the candidate will never have answers.

However, he saw himself going very far in the game, especially thanks to the links he had forged with his teammates.

“Brice told me that he would never vote against me.

I trusted him so I couldn't imagine being eliminated from the start, he says.

If I had been knocked out, I would only have blamed myself for not being good.

On injury, who do you blame, my calf?

!

"

Even today, François expresses regret following this unexpected departure.

That of not being able to say goodbye to his tribe, "of not being able to come to the camp, hug them very tightly and tell them to fight for me", he confesses, evoking his great frustration. come to think of it, even almost a year after filming.

"I understood that I was going to be eliminated the same evening"

On the side of the Blues, the immunity test was not a great success.

The members of the Southern Tribe fell short of the methodical spirit of their competitors, resulting in a surreal scene upon their return to the camp.

Sitting around the fire, Mathieu announces to the group that he will vote against Carole, before being followed by Aubin.

This improvised advice is actually the idea of the Marseille candidate.

"I asked to have a meeting because I wanted to know their thoughts," she explains to

20 Minutes

.

If we were a family, they could talk openly like a real family around a table.

"

Carole didn't hide her face for long before admitting that her first name would be on her comrades' ballots.

“I had already seen the looks just after the ordeal that we lose.

I looked and saw that they all bowed their heads.

It was there that I understood that I was going to be eliminated that very evening, ”she recounts.

During the episode, the Marseillaise explains having been confined to the role of mother, and not of adventurer.

A role she did not want, but which stuck to her during almost all of the competition.

“In the evening, I had to tell jokes to make them laugh, because we had funny evenings, especially when it was raining and cold.

"

However, Carole was not only used to boost the morale of her teammates, she who claims to have cleaned, chopped wood and participated in improving the cabin on a daily basis.

She could even have taken up more space in the camp, if one of her comrades had not stopped her.

“Alix wanted to handle everything,” she points out.

Whenever I wanted to cook, I was told to do something else.

She's the leader of the camp.

We are eager to discover this side of his personality, which viewers have not yet seen for the moment.
